Product Review: Trichup Keratin Shampoo & Hair Mask

More often via Instagram & YouTube and unfortunately much lesser here on the blog, I've always shared my reviews and opinions about various products for skin as well as hair care. It's been quite some time since my last blog post. As I have always been honest with you in the past, it shall be no different this time too!
My previous blog post was about the wonderful Kumkumadi Tailam Serum from Vasu Healthcare. I was so impressed by their formulation that I now have with me their flagship branded Trichup Keratin Shampoo and Trichup Hot Oil Treatment Hair Mask combo that I shall review. I will present my first Impression and the review that will also include What is Keratin and Why it's needed? Why Trichup? Is it worth it? Let's begin...
Once there was a time when the need for some special hair treatments arose that we would always seek professional help or visit a salon. For some, back then getting high-quality hair care felt like a far fetched, wallet-crunching, helpless dream under scrutiny at an approved hair salon. Keratin is a protective protein and the main structural component that makes up and provides strength, flexibility, softness to hair, nails and even to the outer layer of skin. Less prone to scratching or tearing than other types of cells that our body produces, Keratin is also subject to wear and tear.

Fortified with Keratin protein, it has a thick creamy consistency to form a layer over the hair replacing the lost Keratin. Instructions on How to Use
Step 1
Wet hair and scalp thoroughly.
Step 2
Apply a sufficient amount of Trichup Keratin shampoo on the scalp and hair strands Lather it from the scalp to the ends of the hair.
Step 3
Massage the scalp using fingers
Step 4
Leave for 1-2 minutes and rinse thoroughly. Repeat if necessary
Follow these Tips For Better Results
1. Never scrub your scalp with shampoo harshly. Do it very gently in small circles. You can use your finger pads to loosen any dirt, skin flakes, residue, and natural oils. 2. Don’t forget to detangle your hair before or during shampooing before washing your hair. Detangling before shampooing can ease the hair knots. 3. Comb and detangle your still wet hair tenderly without using any force, it may damage the freshly washed and still sensitive hair.

Frankly, I'm not much a fan of using heating elements on my hair but love to pamper my hair also and that too within my home. Instructions on How to Use
Step 1
Spread over wet hair from root to tip after shampooing.
Step 2
Leave for about 10-15 minutes, preferably with hair wrapped in the hot towel.
Step 3
Rinse-off thoroughly.
Follow these tips for better results:
1. Spread the mask evenly through to the ends to make sure you’ve applied it to every last spot before you let it sit. 2. Hot towel fomentation to hair after application of Hair Mask gives better conditioning effect and leaves behind a lingering fragrance. 3. Indulge in a hot oil treatment therapy at least once a week to deep condition your hair. 4. Do a patch test with the Hot oil treatment hair mask on the inside of your forearm before applying it to your head to make sure you are not allergic to it.

To Sum It Up!
Conventional keratin treatment is way more expensive, contains chemicals & ingredients in higher percentages to last longer periods, possessing higher risks and adverse effects on the skin, even causing severe rashes. Conventionally treated hair is harder to maintain. Swimming in chlorinated or salt water can shorten the life of your keratin treatment. Additional Special Shampoo & Conditioner are required. Having to wait for 3 to 4 days post-keratin treatment to get your hair wet, still is not recommended for all.
A hair care routine of Trichup Keratin Shampoo & Hot Oil Treatment Hair Mask is less expensive. Due to lower strength percentage, Single-use effects last lesser than Conventional methods but Trichup's Cysteine treated hair is better protected, better nourished and can be regularly maintained, gently & safely. Only an additional Hot Towel is required. Suitable for all (path test is still recommended)
