The secret of the youth has been searched for since long time ago. Many researchers have experimented to find ways to slow down the aging process. Quite a few findings have been implemented by new age, organic cosmetics & food products but the most important thing for us to do is to be consistent in implementing & maintaining healthy lifestyle and eating habits.

We can’t stop the natural change, but we can still look younger if we work hard to slow down the aging process.

So Today, I’m going to let you in on 10 Steps to Make You Look Younger. These are very basic but often forgotten or brushed aside in today’s stressful world.

Our body already has that process covered, but we are exposed to so many chemical contaminants as well as hazards from air, food and environment in our everyday life. Hence the need for assisting our body by the right procedures to detoxify our body, is very important.

Picture4Having enough sleep at least 6-8 hours a day will make our skin healthier. Having a good sleep is also important because our growth hormone is at work during that time. It renews the old cells of our body, include the skin cell. This is why proper sleep will keep our skin fresh and young.

Picture8Eating healthy and safe food everyday will make our body fit, slim and also look younger. Try to eat more fish instead of red meat. Fiber food, vegetables, fruits, and supplements are important foods to consume. Drink less coffee and other caffeine beverages. Nutrition & Vitamins are required for our body and its organs to function properly.

Picture10Through routine exercise, we feel happier, energetic, and confident. It also increases our bone density and improves muscle tone which makes our body look years younger. Beside aerobics, walking, and swimming, be sure to add a few simple exercises and lift a few weights to keep your body strong, supple, invigorated and free of aches.

By social life I do not mean on the social sites, status updates and posts… theories & tests have shown them to be major stress causing factors. Get up! Go on! Get out there! In real life, physically communicating and socializing with friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, and others can bring happiness to us like nothing else can.

Are we taking regular and proper care of our skin, nails, hair & feet? These are important as they will show age/wear/tear if we do not care for them. Paying regular attention to the overall grooming is also very necessary. Take an assessment of your performance. If you look good and feel good, then your performance will be better.
